How To make A Tweet Desk Tidy

Desk Tidy
AGES 5-6 YEARS

What you need
Cardboard snack tube (or kitchen paper tube, sweetie tubes)
Kitchen paper tube
Sweetie tube
Large and medium paintbrushes
Acrylic paint in shades of blue, yellow, green, white, brown and orange.
Pair of compasses and pen
Thick card
Scissors
All purpose household glue

Make any desk more organized with this smart desk tidy! With twitter tweets written all over it or prints of twitter birds, this desk tidy will look smart near the desktop of a computer of someone who tweets all the time! Wonderful craft gift for someone who loves doing artwork.

1. Remove the lid from the cardboard tubes. Paint the as far down on the inside of each tube with blue paint. Use the same blue paint to paint the outside of each tube as shown in the picture. Leave to dry.

2. Take the green and paint some grass at the bottom of the lower half of the tubes. Paint some trees trunks with no leaves onto the tubes only two on opposite sides. No leaves. Leave to dry.

3. Paint a few twitter birds using the template at the back on page 111, Replace the lid on top.
